6. Romain Gall explodes onto the USMNT scene

23-year-old Paris-born American international, Romain Gall, joined Malmö last July and has continued to smash goals into the back of the net this season in Sweden. Gall had 15 goals and seven assists in 28 games this season. (I’m not using the word smash lightly).

Gall was a relatively unknown quantity until he received a call-up for the last camp of 2018 and made a cameo at the end of the Italy friendly. The right-winger brings pace and creativity to the right side and could form a potent relationship with DeAndre Yedlin, depending on where others like Tim Weah line-up in 2019.

With Pulisic most likely in the middle, where he can get in between the lines and make plays, it will be interesting to see what weapons Berhalter can surround Pulisic with to give him options and relieve some of that pressure.
