3. Marco Fabian (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Earlier this month, Iván Kasanzew of Univision reported that forward Marco Fabian would be leaving his club, Eintracht Frankfurt, at the end of the season. The 29-year-old forward said he was interested in either playing for another team in Europe or making a move to Major League Soccer.

Fabian started his professional career in Mexico, playing for Chivas de Guadalajara in 2007. He was later loaned out to Cruz Azul before joining Frankfurt during the 2015-16 season. In Liga MX, Fabian scored 78 goals in 184 appearances with Cruz Azul and Guadalajara.

After a strong start in Germany, Fabian suffered a back injury that required surgery and led to decreased minutes with Frankfurt last season. His struggles have carried over to the current season where Fabian has only played in one game for Frankfurt. He has scored eight goals in 42 appearances with the club.

While he isn’t in the best form, the Mexican forward is an experienced player at both the club and international level. Fabian has picked up 42 caps and nine goals with the Mexican national team. He made several appearances off the bench for El Tri in the 2014 and  2018 FIFA World Cups.
