The Red Bulls did just enough all season to stay within contention for the Supporters’ Shield all season, and then they did just enough on Decision Day. The 1-0 victory was not comprehensive, but it did complete the trophy-winning regular season accomplishment. The Red Bulls can now focus solely on rest and a proper approach to the next five games, if they make it that far. Chris Armas deserves some coaching award consideration, even if he only served in the role for half a season.
