On their day, FC Dallas plays the best, attacking football in the league for the salary value. Off their day, FC Dallas inspires the confidence of a midtable team. FC Dallas could secure a top-two spot this week against Sporting or fall to the fourth seed before the playoffs start. Wins are essential in the West, down to the very last week.. 16-7-9. . 373. New York versus Philadelphia used to mean something in every sport. MLS has a chance to recapture that magic this week with a possible playoff clash looming. Like most of the league, the Red Bulls will head into the final weeks somewhat rested. New York cannot afford to slip up for even a moment, though. They will want to win both the Supporters’ Shield and ensure that the Eastern playoff road does not go through Atlanta. Both require wins from here on out.. 20-7-5. . New York Red Bulls. 1. team
