Notable Others

Kendall Waston

Kendall Waston continues to find the back of the net for “Los Ticos”. The big defender for the Vancouver Whitecaps once again scored on a header in the 44th minute of Costa Rica’s match against Colombia.

The goal was one of the only bright spots in a day to forget for Costa Rica as Colombia had 24 shots with 9 on target. Waston’s goal was his second this year in 5 matches for Los Ticos.

Bořek Dočkal

Philadelphia Union’s No. 10 Bořek Dočkal had two assists in the Czech Republic’s 2-1 victory over Slovakia. The playmaker continued his club form for his national team as he played all 90 minutes in both matches against Slovakia and Ukraine. His performance during the two UEFA Nations League matches has to make Philadelphia Union fans excited as the team heads into the playoffs.

Albert Rusnák

Fresh off a new deal with Real Salt Lake, Albert Rusnák played all 90 minutes in Slovakia’s friendly match against Sweden. Although failing to appear versus the Czech Republic in Slovakia’s first match of October, Rusnák made his presence known scoring an 84th-minute, game-tying goal from outside of the box to give Slovakia the 1-1 tie with Sweden.
