4. Katai is back to his best

It seems Aleksandar Katai has recovered from a midseason slump to return to his best, which is exactly what the Fire needed. Over the course of the summer, when Chicago was in the midst of its club-record losing streak, Katai was a frustrated figure. He wasn’t able to get much of the ball, and couldn’t do much with it whenever he got it.

The winger put on a quality performance against Orlando last time out and continued this run of good form on Saturday night. Katai gave the Fire the lead in typical fashion, as he sold the entire opposing defense with a single shot fake before curling a finish to the back post. He helped create the second goal as well, playing a superb through ball down the wing to Edwards, whose cross was turned in for an own goal.

Fans could tell Katai was feeling it as well, as he danced by defender after defender. The Fire need him to be at his best, and hopefully this purple patch will continue until the end of the season.
