4. Orlando are historically bad defensively

Orlando City were on pace to break the MLS record for goals conceded in a season coming into the game on Sunday. After the match was over, that pace was only further accelerated, as the Floridian side manage to give up four more goals.

As things stand, the Lions have conceded 66 goals with six games left in the year. Considering the record is 70, set by then expansion side Minnesota, it would be a shock to see Orlando not break the record. The matter of which the goals came was especially disappointing, as many of them were preventable.

Two came from direct turnovers, while the other two could’ve been stopped with some simple hustle. The players have given up and are just waiting to go on an offseason vacation. However, if Orlando isn’t careful, they might slip all the way down behind San Jose, and pick up the dreaded Wooden Spoon award at the end of the year.
