The Top Three

3. Josef Martinez vs. Orlando City

Josef Martinez broke the record in style scoring a beautiful goal and putting his name down in history. With over five fixtures remaining in the season for Atlanta, the striker seems destined to surpass 30 goals in 2018.

2. Jefferson Savarino vs. Colorado Rapids

Real Salt Lake took advantage of their two-man advantage against the Colorado Rapids to put six goals past their rivals. Jefferson Savarino scored two of the six goals and his second goal of the match was a perfectly placed shot past Tim Howard.

1. Scott Sutter vs. Atlanta United

They may have lost, but Orlando’s Scott Sutter gets the top goal of the week honor with this thunderbolt of a strike against Atlanta.

See you back here next week for the next edition of the top 10 goals as we enter September.
