2. Showdown in the Big Apple
New York City FC and the New York Red Bulls will once again partake in a top of the table clash. The Hudson River Derby could decide who moves into second place behind Atlanta by the week’s end.
Both clubs could use three points after disappointing results from the previous week. Chasing the relentless Atlanta is not easy, but both New York clubs are the next best in the East and perhaps the biggest challengers to the Five Stripes for the MLS Cup.
Wednesday night’s match is the perfect way to cure any midweek blues of the absence of the football league you watch on the weekends.
