The defending champions are still alive in the Canadian Championship and could sneak into the playoffs. The chances for a double is still alive. Being 25 points behind Atlanta does not matter. 337. The scoreline was respectable but the response to the red cards was not. The Dynamo were easily baited into plenty of dumb fouls and altercations. Houston is testing their fan’s patience. Hopes of the playoffs are tenuous at best. The third-minute yellow card set the tone for the game. Cabrera’s men didn’t heed the notice. While Houston was not paying attention and growing lapse, they’ve fallen seven points adrift of the playoff pace.. 7-9-6. Previous: 7th. Houston Dynamo. 13. team

12. team. 372. Blown leads and dropped points now leave the Revolution with little room for error down the stretch. Orlando twice pulled level when New England blew set-piece assignments. Brad Freidel’s squad is no longer defending with vigor for the full 90 minutes. Whether that is tactical deviations or just player fatigue in the summer heat is still undecided.
