375. The Timbers keep climbing in the standings. The early-season road trip had the small sample size crowd up in arms. Now that MLS is at the All-Star break, Gio Savarese must be the front-runner for Coach of the Year. At least he has been the best new hire. 370. The stadium is almost completed, and so is the roster. Gone is Acosta, in comes Badji, and FC Dallas are reportedly in the market for a defender. Micheal Barrios is back to his preferred starting spots and finding the ball in dangerous spaces. Oscar Pareja has upped the intensity on the sidelines, and his team is responding.
