Philadelphia Union. 14. team. 374. The Union have one of the longer All-Star breaks and have been busy in the transfer window. Gone is Eric Ayuk and in comes Anthony Ribelin, allegedly. He was last seen in Philly. If only CJ Sapong could be moved to make room on the roster for a productive striker. An extension for Auston Trusty is also in order. The Union have a future USMNT-caliber defender, and an academy product at that. The Union’s version of ‘Trust the Process’ has a bright future.. 8-10-3. Previous: 14th

team. 372. General Manager Bilello insists the team plans on filling an international roster spot in the transfer window. Just as there is a spot not filled, neither has been the Revs attacking spaces in the bubbles underneath the striker. No one shows in those pockets of space, nor has anyone proven to be as capable as Lee Nguyen. The next four games are against other middle-of-the-road MLS East teams. Results against Orlando, DC, and Philadelphia are necessary. Fall further behind, and Brad Friedel might have to learn to deal with a diva attacker for next season.. 8-10-3. Previous: 13th. New England Revolution. 12

9. team. 322. Real Salt Lake bear the distinction of being shut out by San Jose. That does not bode well in the stretch run. However, Salt Lake will have Rusnak back in the fold soon, or bring in a replacement to go along with getting their coach back on the sidelines. Real Salt Lake has open roster spots, and a shot at a top-four spot in the West. Their initiative in the transfer market is likely indicative of what the front office perceives as this team’s ceiling.. 9-9-4. Previous: 9th. Real Salt Lake
