1. Ibrahimovic moves into second in the Golden Boot race

With 15 goals, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has surpassed Bradley Wright-Phillips in the Golden Boot race. Although no one is going to catch Josef Martinez, this is still a big moment for Ibrahimovic as he continues to silence any doubters.

The striker is thriving in LA and his goalscoring record is a testament to what his arrival has done for the Galaxy. In only one match have the Galaxy failed to win when Ibrahimovic scores. That is not a statistic to be scoffed at or taken lightly.

The Galaxy are third in the table and Ibrahimovic is one of the overarching reasons why the Western Conference club have been able to launch themselves up the standings.

The playoffs are on the horizon in LA and we all hope Ibrahimovic is there to produce more fireworks. He is, after all, a big game player.
