After a heartbreaking mid-week draw on the road, LAFC recovered with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Orlando City.

The goals keep coming for LAFC and the unbeaten run now stands at seven matches across all competitions. Adama Diomande continued his impressive form scoring a brace to increase his season goal total to nine.

LAFC struck first in the match with Diomande and Latif Blessing scoring three minutes apart in the 29th and 32nd minutes to make it 2-0 early on. Orlando City pulled a goal back Sacha Klejestan in the 59th minute as the Eastern Conference club was looking to end their losing streak.

Diomande and Diego Rossi shut the door on any potential comeback, scoring goals in the 82nd and 84th minutes to put the result away for LAFC.

Here are three things we learned from the win.

#3 Rossi gets back on the scoresheet

Following a fantastic opening few weeks for Rossi, the Uruguayan has struggled to replicate the form he showed at the onset of the season. His goal on Saturday night was just his first since May May 26th and just his third MLS goal in almost three months.

LAFC have plenty of options on the attack but Rossi still plays a major role in creating plays and opening up space to get quality scoring chances. Hopefully, this goal is a sign that he can still be a mainstay factor for LAFC and continue to get his name on the scoresheet.
