Katai Can Be Frustrated

All eyes were on Aleksandar Katai, who had been the danger man for the Fire in the past few weeks. He was in blistering form coming into the match, and fans had hoped he could run the show once again. However, yesterday’s game proved Katai isn’t perfect, and can still have an off day. It was evident early on that he would have a tough game, as none of his dribbles came off the way he wanted to.

He began to force things, instead of just laying it off to a teammate and trusting them with the ball. Part of the problem might have been the turf, which he has still not gotten used to. His frustration only continued to bubble, as Katai started getting involved in incidents with various Vancouver players. Paunovic decided to sub Katai out before he got sent off, which was the right call. The winger has gone through slumps in his career, but Fire fans will have to hope Katai can bounce back in the teams next game.
