ANDREW FARRELL. 7.5. It was a slow start to the season for Farrell, but the former first-overall draft pick has been in good form over recent weeks. His low grade is mainly because of that, as his stock has been rising as of late. He has also shown his versatility, starting at center back on a couple occaasions. He isn’t the quickest defender, but his physicality makes up for it and he has worked hard to get back in shape. Farrell has also had more involvement offensively than ever before.. Right Back. New England Revolution

5.0. It certainly hasn’t been an easy adjustment to life in MLS for Somi. During the first game, it became apparent he might be vulnerable to the style of the play in the states, getting completely flat-footed on a Philadelphia goal. Somi has shown explosiveness on the left side and is not afraid to make overlapping runs or even attempt a shot. But defensively, he has struggled mightily and makes the left side vulnerable. A series a failed fitness test have prevented him from suiting up recently, a blessing in disguise perhaps. He is currently the only true left back as injuries have limited New England’s options.. Left Back. New England Revolution. GABRIEL SOMI

7.5. An injury put an early end to Tierney’s season. But the long-time Revs defender put in some decent performances in his brief campaign. His most memorable moment was a free-kick game-winning goal against Colorado in March. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery for this club legend.. Left Back. New England Revolution. CHRIS TIERNEY
