The New York Red Bulls have a plethora of talent on their hands. Most of the talent still have years ahead of them to make it all more encouraging. But Florian Valot, in particular, is in a groove right now.

The New York Red Bulls and Florian Valot seem like a match made in heaven. I have been high on his performances ever since his arrival to the first team earlier this season. After another match where he broke through, I feel like his role on the team can become apparent.

After the match, Valot deservedly got some very high praise from his fellow Red Bull brethren. Head Coach Jesse Marsch acknowledged that the Red Bulls knew what they had with some very kind words.

"“Two years he [Valot] spent with USL, right? And we knew he was a talent, but he just needed to continue to develop and fully understand what we’re doing. And then once you started to see it, I think in preseason this year. He’s had great moments with USL, but preseason this year, you really saw him to come alive and start to gather confidence, and now you can see a pretty darned good player that has very few flaws.”"

So, this essentially means that the cat is out of the bag. All of Valot’s reps in the USL and his journey all the way over from France is finally paying off. He is leaving his mark and playing some strong soccer. Strong enough that people are talking about him.

Valot definitely has to keep playing this well for a while longer before truly looking at him as one of the stars of this squad. However, he is well on his way to doing so early on this season.

Once the Red Bulls played in Orlando, and Valot broke through with a goal, he has been contributing on a positive level. He even scored again in last weekends routing of rival NYCFC. Nearly every Red Bulls player played a near perfect match, but Valot still stood out in the boxscore.

Where I am trying to go with this is this: Kaku, Tim Parker, Tyler Adams, and even Marsch were named to the MLS team of the week. All of those were deserving. Their contributions to the win in Harrison were probably even more apparent.

However, that is okay. The rest of Major League Soccer might not quite know how good Florian Valot is yet, and that is okay. But the New York Red Bulls know what they have in him, and know his value.

When the New York Red Bulls succeed, Valot might not get all the glory or accolades. But in order for the New York Red Bulls to succeed, they will get Valot contributing to it. Now and in the future. It is great to see some recognition for helping his team as much as he can.
