MLS: Week 8 power rankings – New York City FC drops, Atlanta rises
Another MLS week of goal fest, another MLS week filled with upset and comebacks. NYCFC has finally lost a game while Seattle has finally won one.

Another goose egg game from a scrambled attack, another game where the young Union backline look confused. Too many players seemed lost or uninterested. Any spell of possession was quickly bogged down. This fanbase is willing to #TrustTheProcess with Trusty and Real in defense. When Piatti is on, he can win a game by himself against other lesser sides. Against a team with the attacking talent of LAFC, Montreal will need to defend with more resolve and determination to bag points. 322. RSL had a man advantage and was awarded a penalty but a home win never gets too many complaints. However, there were mistakes all over the field. Even up a man, RSL could not win the middle of the field. There are flashes of talent that seem to never happen in threatening areas.
