Another week is in the books for USMNT and USWNT players abroad. Christian Pulisic produced the highlight of the weekend with an absolutely fantastic strike, but here is a full round-up of US soccer overseas.

This was easily one of the best goals we’ve seen from USMNT starlet Christian Pulisic in his career at Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder’s effort from outside the 18-yard box was at a nearly impossible angle and was perfectly placed into the top corner of the net.

It was meant to be a cross but it turned into one of the goals of the weekend in the Bundesliga.

This was Pulisic’s fourth goal of the season as Dortmund went on to win the match 3-0. They move just one point behind second-place Schalke in the Bundesliga table.

Weston McKennie was also involved in scoring over the weekend. The Schalke midfielder set up his club’s second goal of the match with this nicely placed pass.

USWNT friendlies

It was an international break in women’s football this week as the United States Women’s National Team faced Mexico for a pair of friendlies on Thursday and Sunday. Both matches ended in victories for the U.S., with final scores of 4-1 and 6-2.
