The league set impressive numbers both on TV and in the stands last week in Atlanta. Now it’s time to break down the week 3 MLS TV schedule.

The MLS TV schedule for week 2 may have one featured one true national broadcast, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t eventful. Atlanta United broke the attendance record (again) seeing over 72,000 fans pack in to watch their home-opening victory against DC United. In fact, that match drew bigger TV ratings than the EPL did this past weekend. In other MLS TV news, Twitter signed a deal to pick up the English language broadcast of the Univision weekly match, previously with Facebook.

But now on to week 3 action. Keep an eye on the atmosphere for Saturday’s opener as DC United plays one of their two ‘home’ matches in nearby locations until Audi Field is ready this summer. The midday features the reigning champs Toronto FC traveling to Canadian rivals Montreal Impact following TFC’s advancement in the CCL.

Make sure your MLS Live account is up and running all day, but especially as Atlanta United hosts Vancouver in what is sure to be another packed Mercedes-Benz Stadium. And finally, on Sunday, just one match as Seattle visits FC Dallas.
