#5 Providence Park (Portland Timbers)

Capacity – 22,000

By far the oldest stadium in MLS, Providence Park, starts off the top half of the list. Although its capacity sits at only 22,000, the atmosphere at Providence Park makes it seem like much more. The stadium remains sold out since the Timbers first MLS game there, an absolutely astonishing feat.

Luckily for the 13,000 person season ticket waiting list, the Cascadian side plans to add 4,000 seats by either the 2019 or 2020 MLS season.

The match day experience is also one of the best in the league. Timber Joey is by far the coolest mascot in the league, I mean c’mon, a bearded man cutting a huge log every time your team scores. Yes, please. Right in the heart of Portland, the stadium is a perfect fit for both the city and the club.
