#6 BC Place (Vancouver Whitecaps)

Capacity – 22,120 for MLS, 54,500 Total

Built in 1981 in preparation for the 1986 world fair, the Vancouver Whitecaps’ BC Place ranks in at #6. The stadium has the fourth highest capacity in the league with 54,500 fans able to attend their games, even though most of those seats are not used for home matches. Not only has the stadium been used for MLS, but BC Place has hosted the previously mentioned world fair, the 2015 Women’s World Cup, and 2010 Winter Olympics.

The round shape of the stadium gives fans the opportunity to watch their team at any angle. BC Place also features a “Jumbo-tron” hanging from the ceiling, a rare sight for soccer. The home of the Whitecaps shares resemblance with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London England, due to its shape. Luckily for the Caps though, BC Place doesn’t have an awful running track surrounding the pitch.
