#1 Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta United)

Capacity – 42,500 expandable to at least 71,874

It would quite the hot take to say the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium isn’t the best venue in Major League Soccer. Although it doubles as a football arena for the Atlanta Falcons, the stadium fits perfectly around the soccer field. The fans on the lower level sit as close as they can to the touchline, giving them a realistic experience.

The sheer size of the stadium gives it a leg up among the others on its own. Prior to its opening, some would say the 70,000+ capacity would be a bit much for when the five stripes take the field, however in their inaugural season they set the all-time MLS single-game attendance record with 70,425 fans on September 16th when Orlando City came to town.

In addition to these great attendance numbers, Atlanta United fans are treated with low priced food and beverages when they attend games. Mercedes-Benz Stadium introduced  “Fan First”, menu pricing for their inaugural season and will continue it for the upcoming campaign. What’s not to love about that?

So there you have it, the top 10 MLS stadiums. Now let’s hear your thoughts in the comment section below or on Twitter.
