
Red Bulls announce changes to their pre-season plans
Today, the Red Bulls team hopped on a plane to Tucson, Arizona ahead of the Mobile Sun Mini Cup. The team will train and play in Tuscon, Arizona for the Mobile Mini Sun Cup until February 17th. From there the team will travel to Houston, Texas to prepare for their CONCACAF Champions League match versus CD Olimpia. The Red Bulls will play CD Olimpia in San Jose, Costa Rica instead of Honduras due to political turmoil.

- On February 6th, Red Bull Leipzig announced the hire of Red Bull New York’s Head of Scouting, Benjamin Ehresmann. The Red Bulls will now need to find a new Head of Scouting as Ehresmann leaves after just six months in his position.
- Kemar Lawrence is back with the team after Jamaica’s friendly against South Korea in Turkey.
- Tyler Adams is also back with the team after the USMNT’s friendly vs Bosnia & Herzegovina.

And finally, Owngoalnigeria.com reports the Red Bulls are weighing out options to bring a case to FIFA over the mishandled transfer of Jerome Philip. The matter involves Philip whom New York signed in September, and who is now on trial with Norwegian side Lillestroem. The Red Bulls apparently signed the player from the wrong club, and the team that currently holds his rights does not want to sell him to MLS.
