It was quite a successful weekend for American players across the globe. Find out how they fared in this week’s edition of Americans Abroad.
We begin this week with Christian Pulisic’s assist in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 win over FC Köln. The American fed the ball through to Michy Batshuayi who had an impressive debut with two goals.

Elsewhere in Germany, Alfredo Morales recorded a goal for the second consecutive week for Ingolstadt. It was a 3-0 victory for Ingolstadt over Greuther Furth which is the club Julien Green currently plays for. Green played all 90 minutes in his club’s loss.
Matt Miazga scored his second goal of the season as he headed home Vitesse’s second goal of the game in a 2-0 victory.
Aron Johannsson saw 44 minutes of playing time with Werder Bremen on Saturday. This was just his fifth appearance in the Bundesliga for Bremen this season. Bobby Wood (Hamburg SV) and Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt) played all 90 minutes for their respective clubs.
Cameron Carter-Vickers had a strong defensive performance for Ipswich Town as he was named to the EFL Championship Team of the Week.

Antonee Robinson picked up an unconventional assist for Bolton with this nice backheel pass that setup Sammy Ameobi’s top drawer finish.
In the Premier League, Geoff Cameron (Stoke City) and DeAndre Yedlin (Newcastle United) both played 90 minutes over the weekend.
Kenny Saief played all 90 minutes in Belgium for RSC Anderlecht in their 2-2 draw with Mechelen.
In transfer news, Erik Palmer-Brown headed to KV Kortrijk in Belgium on loan from Manchester City. Forward Rubio Rubin signed with Club Tijuana in Liga MX.
Keaton Park picked up an assist for Benfica B earlier this week.
