USL East sees change at the top as Battery go dead and TBR charge up

Charleston Battery, top of the table for the past several weeks, are now in need of jumper cables. They’ve lost 3 of their last 6 and drawn the rest. Charlotte Independence are the new number one this week. Independence haven’t lost in their last 12 matches. Battery dropped into a tie for 2d alongside streaking Tampa Bay Rowdies. TBR went through a slump in June, but now they are back and fully recharged. Just 3 points from the top of the table…
