Eastern Conference: Battery Can’t Turn Over The Engine

In the East, Charleston Battery saw their lead dwindle to just one point as they drew at home against Orlando City B, 0-0. Second place Charlotte Independence closed the gap on the strength of a big 4-0 victory away to Bethlehem Steel on Saturday. Independence are now undefeated in their last 10 matches. And they have posted 7 wins themselves over that same stretch. Independence must battle third place Louisville City FC this weekend, however. LC FC are just 2 points off of Charleston’s pace.
