Celso Borges

Celso Borges currently plays center mid for Deportivo de La Coruña in La Liga. In 34 matches this season, Borges scored six goals, a fairly impressive number for a box-to-box midfielder. So far in his career, he has won the Central American Cup with the Costa Rica National team and the Costa Rican Championships before coming to Spain.

Height is always an advantage in the MLS, and that is what you get with Celso Borges. Not only is he a goal scorer but he wins practically any aerial duel he finds himself in. He is the solid box to box midfielder that we see many MLS missing these days. Add in his scoring threat, you have a very solid center mid on your hands.
