Lasse Schone

Lase Schone is another midfielder but plays for Ajax in the Dutch league. Though Schone can also play across the midfield line, he has mostly played in the middle for the Dutch side who claimed second in the league this past season. During that time, the Demark international has scored seven goals and assisted his teammates four times.

Though Schone isn’t the most clinical finisher at times, his passing and ability to hold onto the ball are top notch. Whether it is from free kicks, crosses or quick passes in the run of play, Schone could open up plenty of sides within the MLS. One thing that he also contributes is an early line of defense, pressuring sides high up the field. We have seen MLS teams this season fall victim to high presses and Schone’s pressure up the field would only help create turnovers in favorable positions.
