Lukasz Piszczek

Lukasz Piszczek plays for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. In the MLS, the best fullbacks know when to push forward while at the same time know when to cover and help defensively. Piszczek doest that regularly without error. The Polish international is very good at pushing forward and making himself a dangerous part of the attack, similarly the Joevin Jones with the Seattle Sounders. Piszczek, though, has shown how lethal he can be, scoring five goals assisting once this season from his rightback position.

In the MLS, especially against teams with wingers who are lazy about defending, Piszczek would tear up the right side of the pitch, overloading opposing teams leftbacks. Imagining Piszczek bombing forward and combining with Elis on the wing for the Houston Dynamo or Kaka roaming out wide to support Piszczek for Orlando is just plain old fun. Transfermarkt.com also has Piszczek worth roughly $6.7 million but similarly to Wood, he is most likely going nowhere anytime soon.
