4. Fanendo Adi – Portland Timbers – Last Week: 5th

It was a game that was billed as the top two teams in the MLS going head-to-head to see who would come out on top….and no one did.  Well, Fanendo Adi got back on the scoresheet after serving his suspension.  Adi now has six goals on the season and it’s still early, look for Adi to be a contender for the Golden Boot award when the season comes to a close.

3. Miguel Almiron – Atlanta United FC – Last Week: 3rd

While Atlanta lost this weekend to D.C. United Almiron was the lone bright spot and has been all season.  His vision, skill, and passing ability are the reasons he’s ranked so highly.  He’s been able to shoulder the load that was left by Josef Martinez when he went out injured.  Almiron has helped Atlanta stay within striking distance of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
