He’s been on top of the MLS Player Power Rankings for a few weeks, but would anyone be able to knock off Erick “Cubo” Torres from the top spot?

He’s been on fire all season, but would a matchup against Toronto FC stop Cubo in his tracks?  Cyle Larin has been on fire all season as well and was looking to help Orlando to their sixth win on the season. Could he score again?  There were a lot of questions and a lot of great games on the schedule this past weekend who would stand out?

9. Sebastian Giovinco – Toronto FC – Last Week: 10th

After starting off the season in not so Giovinco form, The Atomic Ant has started to turn it on. He’s got three goals and an assist on the season. Last weekend against the Houston Dynamo was probably one of his best games as he and Altidore linked up well together on Jozy’s second goal of the game.  Arguably he and Altidore form the best one-two strike force in the MLS.  Between the two they have accounted for eight of Toronto’s 12 goals on the season.  If he keeps playing the way he is playing then there is no reason to think Giovinco won’t be at the top of the Golden Boot standings when the season is done.
