USL East Week 6 Key Matches: Preview and How to Watch
The two top teams in the USL East face two from of the bottom of the table. A look at both matches and how to live-stream the games.
Things could get ugly during this weekend’s conference play in the USL East. The schedule is highlighted — for want of a better word — by a couple of first-versus-worst match-ups.
Charleston Battery (H) v. Ottawa Fury
Last time out: Charleston snuck out of Tampa last Saturday night with a 3-2 win over the home side Rowdies. Tah Ahnunga scored the game winner for the visitors in the 89th minute. Battery keeper Odisnel Cooper also made two outstanding saves, including one in extra time, to seal the win. Charleston are alone at the top of the table in the East having overtaken second place Louisville City.
Ottawa Fury held the same Tampa squad to just one goal two weeks ago, but lost the game. The Fury have only scored once over their last three matches. The side are one point from the bottom of the table on a minus one goal differential. Last week, they scored a draw at nil-nil with Southern Ontario rivals, Toronto FC II.
It could be a classic matchup of a prolific offense against a stingy defense…or it could just be a bloodbath.

Louisville City FC (H) v. Toronto FC II
Last time out: Louisville City and TFC II both played derby matches last weekend. With both coming away with ties.
But for one big error inside the defending box, Louisville might’ve done better than the one point. They finished the night with a man advantage over Cincinnati.
Toronto went 0-0 with Ottawa. Also like the Fury, TFC II has only one goal over their last three matches, and only two for the entire season. TFC II are ahead of the Fury on points, but lag far behind on GD.
It’s early days yet, but both Louisville and Charleston have a good chance this weekend to cement their spots top of the table in USL East.

…and ICYMI, Orlando City B and Saint Louis FC Played to 0-0
The home side put three of their eights shots on target Thursday night, but Saint Louis’ keeper and MOTM, Adam Grinwis, kept his side level to the end.
