By Mark Shannon
6. Fredy Montero – Vancouver Whitecaps – Last Week: Not Ranked
Fredy is back in the MLS and he’s starting to catch fire. Montero scored 54 goals for the Seattle Sounders and is now scoring goals for cross border rivals the Vancouver Whitecaps. Montero has scored four times on 18 shots and is lined up for a juicy matchup against the sloppy defense of the Montreal Impact this weekend.
5. Fanendo Adi – Portland Timbers – Last Week: 3rd
Adi is now in a five-way tie for third place with five goals on the season. Every year since joining the MLS and the Portland Timbers Adi has been near the top of the Golden Boot race, and he will be back there again this year if he keeps up his scoring pace. Adi will be back for this weekends tie against second place FC Dallas.
