8. Clint Dempsey – Seattle Sounders – Last Week: Not Ranked

Deuce, Clint Dempsey, is one of the best American born players the soccer world has ever seen. While Seattle has struggled out of the gate Dempsey, has been in fine form after being off at the end of the season and missing the Sounders’ Championship run.

7. David Villa – New York City FC – Last Week: Not Ranked

Villa has been one of the best players in the world for years and has continued to ply his trade in the MLS and doesn’t look like his skill or pace have dropped a bit.  Villa has scored five times this season and has also recorded three assists.  Villa has become a playmaker with some of the best moves we have ever seen in the league.
