MLS Injury Update: Week 9 – Who’s Fit and Who’s Out?

Real Salt Lake’s woes in 2017 continue as eight players are currently listed as questionable ahead of the away clash at Sporting KC. Including David Horst, who will miss out on a couple of months of action, and Chad Barrett, who is out for the season, the injury toll at the club stands at 10.
Doubtful: Nick Rimando (leg); Chris Wingert (head injury); Stephen Sunday (hamstring); Joao Plata (quad); Aaron Maund (left hamstring strain); Jordan Allen (right quad strain); Tony Beltran (back injury); Justen Glad (knee injury)
Out: David Horst (knee surgery); Chad Barrett (knee, 2018 return)
San Jose Earthquakes
Simon Dawkins is the only doubt for San Jose Earthquakes ahead of their visit to Minnesota United.

Out: Harold Cummings (leg surgery, September return); Quincy Amarikwa (knee surgery, summer return); Marvell Wynne (heart abnormality); Marc Pelosi (left knee injury)
Seattle Sounders
Aaron Kovar, Chad Marshall, and Oniel Fisher are all doubtful starters for Seattle Sounders as they welcome the New England Revolution this weekend.

Out: Roman Torres (left hamstring strain); Brad Evans (calf muscle strain)
Sporting Kansas City
Sporting Kansas City SC look set to field a strong starting eleven against Real Salt Lake this weekend. Diego Rubio is still nursing a torn ACL and will be out for the foreseeable future.

Vancouver Whitecaps
An injury-hit Vancouver Whitecaps squad travels to Montreal this week with no new casualties being reported.
