4. Miguel Almiron – Last Week: 7th

He has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the MLS and we’re only six weeks in. He’s also done this without Atlanta’s star striker Josef Martinez whose still out battling an injury. His playmaking and passing is off the charts. None more evident then his through ball to Hector Villalba for Atlanta’s opening goal against Toronto on Saturday. He keeps pushing Atlanta and they keep producing.

3. Fanendo Adi – Last Week: 5th

The hulking forward got on the scoresheet once again last weekend from the penalty spot. While it was a penalty shot, Adi is now in a three-way tie in second place with five goals on the season. Year after year Adi is near the top of the Golden Boot race and if he keeps this pace up there is no doubt he won’t be back near the top yet again.
