MLS Player Power Rankings Week 5: Who would come out on top?
By Mark Shannon
8. Christian Ramirez – Minnesota United- Last Week – Not Ranked
Minnesota has struggled out of the game through the first five weeks of play. Christian Ramirez however, has been pretty good going forward for Minnesota. The American born forward had two goals this past weekend to give him four on the season. Ramirez and Minnesota will have a tough matchup against FC Dallas in week six.
7. Miguel Almiron – Atlanta United – Last Week – 7th
With Josef Martinez out for four to six weeks Almiron will be a central figure in Atlantas offence. While Atlanta didn’t get a win in week five they did battle for a hard fought 0-0 draw against Seattle. Almiron will be hoping for some better luck as Atlanta heads to the unfriendly confines of BMO Field to take on Toronto FC.
