International break wrecks havoc on MLS teams with multiple players going down injured.

While it may have been a quiet week in terms of MLS gameplay, it wasn’t quiet on the injury front. Atlanta United star player Josef Martinez picked up a knock and is out 4-6 weeks. USA International, and LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget is reportedly out 4-6 months after undergoing foot surgery.

But there was some action this weekend, and the Portland Timbers lost their first match of the season. The Columbus Crew looked good, and the New York Red Bulls struggled against a banged up Real Salt Lake. But the real question is, would there be any movement in the Player Power Rankings?

9. Romell Quioto – Houston Dynamo – Last Week 9th

Quioto along with Torres and Elis has formed a solid trio in Houston. He’s been on the scoresheet three times this season, and will be looking for more against the Red Bulls. Look for Quioto, Torres, and Elis to build on their chemistry the rest of the season.
