Michael Bradley (CDM): 7

Bradley scored a goal on a great left-footed shot from range, even without his best match. He avoided dangerous turnovers for the most part, but he also struggled to really start any attacks going forward. In the game that the USA dominated, there are a lot of expectations on the captain. While his passing could have been better, he deliver on the night.

Sebastian Lletget (RM): 7.5

It is hard to give him any higher of a rating since he only played 20 minutes, but the 20 he played were great. He scored a goal, made a number of great runs, kept possession, and looked like he was going to get on the scoresheet even more if he hadn’t gotten hurt. This guy is looking like he used the January camp as a springboard into an international career.

Darlington Nagbe (LM): 7.5

Nagbe was never in the spotlight much throughout the game, but that doesn’t take away from his performance. He made a number of defensive recoveries, didn’t turn the ball over, and kept good positioning all night. It was a good game for a true team player.

Christian Pulisic (CAM): 9.5

An almost flawless performance, and close to a perfect 10. From the very start Pulisic looked like he could do whatever he wanted on Friday night. He scored a goal, had two assists, and set up Lletget’s goal when the goalie deflected his shot.

On top of that, Pulisic had a number of dangerous runs, and he beat guys off the dribble left and right. Even when he was dispossessed, like on the Lletget goal, he kept his hustle to make something out of nothing. It really looks like the USA might have a true gem they get to show off for many years to come.
