MLS Player Power Rankings: Who is the best player right now?
By Mark Shannon
4. Erick Torres – Houston Dynamo
Cubo has been a man on a mission in Houston this season. He’s scored in three straight games and has helped Houston jump out of the gates with six points. Will he be able to keep it up for the rest of the season is what’s on everyone’s minds, rather than his disappearance in 2016. Three goals on the season and he’s got a 1.06 goals per 90 minute rating.
3. Cyle Larn – Orlando City FC
Without Kaka, Larin and Orlando are winning games. Most noteworthy, however, is the fact that Larin is scoring goals. He has scored all three Orlando goals this season, and has been integral in their first two wins. Larin has scored on 50 percent of his shots so far this season, impressive and likely needed until Kaka returns.
