6. Miguel Almiron – Atlanta United 

He’s one part of the puzzle to what looks like a solid midfield in Atlanta. While he’s playing great in the midfield, even more important is the good chemistry formed with Martinez already. If Almiron, and Martinez continue at this pace, Atlanta is in for a great first MLS season. Most noteworthy are the two assists he has, show how versatile of a player he is.

5. Maximiliano Urruti – FC Dallas 

FC Dallas is probably one of the most prolific teams in the MLS. Every season they’re competing for a Supporters’ Shield and MLS Cup. A lot of credit goes to Oscar Pareja, but Urruti has been big to start the season.

He’s got three goals through three games and scored two this past weekend. He was given the day off in week two and used the rest and turned in a two goal performance in week 3.
