Seattle Sounders vs. New York Red Bulls

Goal: Clint Dempsey (28th minute)

As cool as you like, Dempsey shows fantastic composure to net the opening goal of the match.

Goal: Bradley Wright-Phillips (57th minute)

Wright-Phillips heads home this Sal Zizzo cross to level the match.

Goal: Jordan Morris (66th minute)

The Sounders enjoy this nice sequence of play to set up Morris’s header that finds the back of the net. Nicolás Lodeiro and Joevin Jones provide the assists.

Goal: Harry Shipp (79th minute)

It’s crafty, but did he actually think this was going to go in? Nonetheless, Shipp redirects Jones’s initial shot, discretly, into the net.

Goal of the Week

Winner: Benny Feilhaber (Sporting Kansas City)

The angle, the finish, it’s all there. A top class goal from a Feilhaber and one of the goals of the season for sure.
