Colorado Rapids

Axel Sjoberg, Alan Gordon, Kevin Doyle and John Berner are all missing for the Colorado Rapids. Sjoberg underwent a surgery on his hamstring and won’t be available until the summer, while strikers Gordon and Doyle were both left out of last week’s 1-0 loss to New York Red Bulls due to back and hamstring problems respectively.

Anibal Chala had undergone a sports hernia operation last month and is expected to come back in April. He joins Mauro Diaz, Ryan Hollingshead, and Victor Ulloa on the treatment table.

Houston Dynamo

Goalkeeper Joe Willis is still a doubt for Houston Dynamo as the Western Conference side gear up to take on the Portland Timbers.

LA Galaxy

Giovani dos Santos is expected to miss this week’s away game at Real Salt Lake after coming off at half-time in LA Galaxy’s recent loss to Portland Timbers. Robbie Rogers, Ashley Cole and Gyasi Zardes are still out.

First choice keeper John Alvbage will be out after suffering a knee laceration in the 84th minute of Minnesota United’s 1-6 drubbing by Atlanta United. He joins Bernardo Anor as the two injured players at the expansion club.

Portland Timbers

Left-back Vytas and midfielder David Guzman might not make it back in time for the Portland Timbers’ home game against Houston Dynamo. Liam Ridgewell is out with a foot injury but should make a recovery in time for the first MLS game of April.
