2017 MLS Golden Boot: Who will rise to the top?
By Mark Shannon
3. Bradley Wright-Phillips – New York Red Bulls
He was the Golden Boot winner last year and will surely once again be near the top. He’s been a scoring machine in the MLS with 69 goals in 107 games played. And he owns a 0.64 goals per game ratio.
While the Red Bulls are expected to be contenders again this year you can fully expect Wright-Phillips to be on the score sheet a lot this season. Wright-Phillips winds up scoring 20 goals this season for the Red Bulls, as they make the playoffs once again.
