5. Fanendo Adi – Portland Timbers

Adi is one of the best target men in all of the MLS. While he’s a big body, he has great footwork and is great in front of goal. But watch out for the 6’4 Nigerian on corners or crosses because his headers are deadly and he likes to find space.

He’s got 41 goals in 90 appearances for the Timbers, with a goals per game ratio at 0.45. Look for Adi to produce once again for the Timbers. While Portland may struggle this season, he won’t.  Adi will finish with 16 goals this season.
