While Columbus Crew SC underwhelmed everyone with their performances en route to a ninth-place finish in the Eastern Conference, they did possess one of the most prolific strikers around in the form of Ola Kamara.

Brought into the starting line-up to replace the departing Kei Kamara, the Oslo native had already missed a chunk of his debut campaign, but still managed to grab 16 goals to his name in 25 appearances including two game-winners and as many assists.

The 27-year-old has the third best scoring rate among any player who has scored more than five goals, with his 0.77 goals per game ratio only trailing Frank Lampard (0.84) and Bradley Wright-Phillips (0.78).

  • Started 20 of 25 games played.
  • Scored 2/3 from the penalty spot. The miss came in a 2-1 away loss at LA Galaxy.
  • 9 goals scored at home, 7 away.
  • Took 80 shots with 38 on goal.
  • First appearance in the top 10 goal scorers list in his debut season.
