Giovani dos Santos seems to have finally acclimated to the MLS since his move from Villareal. In 2016, the LA Galaxy playmaker took part in nearly three times the number of games as compared to the season before, racking up 14 goals and 12 assists in 28 appearances as LA Galaxy ended their season in third place in the Western Conference.

The Mexican’s goals per game ratio of 0.54 is the second highest for a midfield player in the league, tied with Ignacio Piatti and behind Frank Lampard (0.84). In addition to this, he has also scored the winner for his side on two occasions and is the fourth most involved player in terms of goal output with a combined goal and assist tally of 26.
