The USA started the second half with a barrage of goals, scoring three times in a span of six minutes. The first came in the 52nd minute when the Haiti goalkeeper failed to clear a corner, leaving Luca De la Torre with an open goal.

Only a minute later, Brooks Lennon picked up his second. The USA managed to steal the ball from a Haitian defender and get them on a quick counter attack. A nice layoff from Ebobisse was able to get Lennon one-on-one with the goalie, and his finish was barely good enough to get it in the back of the net.

Finally, Lennon finished off his hat-trick in the 58th by slotting home a rebound off a Luca De la Torre shot.
