#15 – Real Salt Lake

Matches Played: 410

Wins: 150

Percentage: 36.6%

Coming in 15th place are the 2009 MLS Cup Champions. Until the last two seasons, the club had been one of the most consistent and productive teams in MLS. After not qualifying for the playoffs in their first three years, they would go on to qualify seven straight times earning at least ten wins in each.

While successful, and having secured one Cup, Real Salt Lake has been close to achieving a lot more. Since 2010, the club has finished as a runner up in the 2011 Champions League, 2013 MLS Cup, 2010 Supporters’ Shield, and the 2013 US Open Cup. Although I’m sure any club below RSL in the list would gladly finish second numerous across competitions, if that meant having already secured one league title.
